Its case presents gorgeously. The lugs show fairly light signs of previous polishing - otherwise the case presents as just short of perfect mint. It still retains wonderfully strong lines.
Its original dial, which has stirkingly vintage styled "wide boy" markers, has been meticulously refinished in the custom color of Tiffany & Co. blue. The printing could pass as Rolex factory done to the naked eye. And its original Rolex Jubilee so-called "crimped link" bracelet presents in beautiful condition. Even the clasp shows hardly any signs of previous polishing - still retains a crisp coronet.
A Master Watchmaker has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with genuine Rolex replacements, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $695 value).
Its original caliber 1161 Rolex movement winds well and is keeping very accurate time.
